Description: This year I played the role of creative director for Magalia Adventist School's annual shirt design competition. The school required the use of the slogan "Live, Love, Learn" and a religious symbol. The winner was a 3rd grader who had drawn a bible and a few other symbols mixed with a large body of text. The third grader and i worked to simplify the design in order to ensure effectiveness.
Description: This poster was designed for a free concert in honor of earth day. The event coordinator put full creative freedom in my hands with the request that I make the poster stand out more than anything it might be near. To ensure that the concert got the recognition it deserved, I enforced the blatant use of yellow with a bit of complementary blue. Needles to say, the concert enjoyed the participation of a very full crowd.

Description: This shirt was made right before I attended a Las Vegas edition of the Price Is Right game show. The shirt definitely caught the attention of those in attendance. A friend who was wearing one of the shirts even won a nice little prize. If you ask me, I say the shirt was responsible for that!

Description: This series of Yellow Pages advertisements were created as part of a advertising design competition hosted by Terminix. All of the textual information was provided beforehand by the host. Entries were to include one half and one full advertisement for the posative services that Terminix provides.
Description: This rather large print is an abstract representation of lyrics from a catchy song by the band Midnight Juggernauts. It was done as part of a small college class project for one of my art classes.
Description: This piece was created in college, shortly after the 2007 anniversary of the tragic 9/11 incident that we are all familiar with. This speaks to the idea that America's arrogance and ignorance is to be held responsible for the animosity that caused the attack on the World Trade Center in NY. I am an American who has a share in this responsibility.
Description: This is piece was created as a play on words, or word in this case. The object is a staple remover, and the "m" represents a staple like component being removed from the arrangement. Critically speaking the composition was deemed a success by those who it was presented to.
Description: This is a preview of a font series that I conceptualized in 2009. The project was inspired by the biological cell division that takes place in living organisms. Once finished, the font will have three separate styles as shown in the image. I have not yet determined weather or not the font will be released to the public, or saved for a future project.
Description: I'm pretty stoked about this one! Yes I realize this might look emo, but I'm convinced that the yellow will overpower that point of view. The process started as a sketch, which I then finessed in AdobeI llustrator. I then printed the illustration on to a transparent sheet of vellum. I used the vellum print with a portable projector to to literally project the illustration on to a canvas. I used this method to guide as I painted the final product.

Description: This is conceptual packaging done of a premium moisturizer line for Lubriderm. I provided the company with various options that would each convey premium quality feel in a unique way. The beige bottle is a personal favorite of mine since it proudly exhibits a "day spa" color theme.
Elements 2009
Description: This is a series of minimalistic paintings that I first designed in Adobe Illustrator. I utilized my traditional technique of printing the object to be painted onto a transparent sheet of vellum, then using a projector to shine the silhouette on the appropriate area to be painted on the canvas. I even ripped apart a shirt to create a very large home made paintbrush in order to paint the soft background on each image.
